Q1. What is the purpose of Invest Korea Plaza (IKP)? |
The need for exclusive foreign investment services has grown as Korea competes increasingly with other Asian countries to attract FDI.
Recognizing this fact, Korea's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) announced a plan in April 2002 to construct One-Stop
Service facility for foreign invested companies to be called Invest Korea Plaza.
IKP will support foreign investors in their settlement process in Korea and improve the overall investment environment in Korea.
Using the Plaza's comprehensive range of services, foreign investors will simply need to contact a single project manager to
access investment counseling, get an application approval, get help with family education, and get assist with medical services and housing. |

Q2. What kinds of secretarial services does IKP provide? |

Our basic services cover Living service, Administrative service, Private secretary service, etc. For the more professional service areas, we provide Translation &interpretation service, Document creation & filing service, and Conference & seminar support service.
Marketing, PR, Accounting and Legal consulting services are also available. |

Q3. Is IKP available for all companies? |
The original goal for the IKP project was to provide services to foreign investors in order to improve investment environment in Korea.
Therefore, IKP will be opened to any foreign companies that are interested in investing in Korea or to companies currently invested in Korea.
Foreign companies who have received a written recommendation from one of KOTRA's

Q4. Are there any limits for the period of lease? |
Initial leasing period for IKP office will be
a year.
If the company has been approved as High Technology Investment project or if you further
invest more than $500,0000 under the inspection from Invest Korea Selection
Committee, you may extend one more year

Q5. How many languages does the IKP secretarial staff speak? |
|
We have 4 secretaries at the Information Desk on the 1st floor and 7th ~9th floors. Our secretarial staffs speak both fluent English and Japanese.
